Taylor is now officially a Senior Model for C.Marie's Photography!

I am so glad to have come across such a great young lady to be my senior model, she did great and I can't help to notice how much she looks like her mom, Lee Ann. :-) She has dreams of becoming a cosmetologist after graduating from Miamisburg High School next spring. Taylor was fantastic, even in the 28 degree weather she never complained...will be nice to go out again and shoot more with her once the sun comes back to Ohio. :-)

WPPI - Plus Class - Bambi Cantrell

Last week I had the honor of attending Bambi Cantrell's Plus Class at WPPI Convention in Las Vegas. I learned so much! I met some really fun new photographer friends and I am excited to have friends throughout the country now...

For those who do not know a Plus Class at the WPPI Convention is basically like a photography workshop on fast forward...it is tons of information smashed into two days. We had some awesome models during this class as you can clearly see by the images, it was great meeting Jessica, Melissa, and Ed. Without them I am not sure what we would have done, maybe practice on neon signs? So I want to send out a HUGE THANK YOU to all of them.....

Overall WPPI has given me so many new ideas and I can't wait to be able to get started on everything. I found a new album company which I know you will all love as much as I do! I will also be updating the look of my website very soon! I had a wonderful time and met wonderful people and learned a ton, so I would say it was even a more successful convention for me than last year's!!

Headed to Vegas...

I am headed to Vegas in just a few hours for the most awesome photography convention I have ever been able attend.....I had to pick a few of my top images to post to my blog as part of one of the classes I have signed up for....so these are my 4 favorite recent images....

Findlay Bridal Show

I had a blast at the Findlay Bridal Showcase last night....it was so fun to meet everyone who came by the booth and hope to hear from you all soon, I grabbed this shot of the booth with my cellphone just so I would always have the memory of my first bridal show booth in photo form.

I can't wait to be a part of the weddings for the awesome brides and grooms that I was able to meet...(yes there were a few grooms that did make it out and even one groom who came as a stand-in for his bride, HUGE brownie points for Sam McCullough, who was a great groom at the showcase! :-) )

I just loved this layout in one of the albums I just received from my lab....

I opened the book and when I came to this page I just had to stop and stare...it really just brought back the memories of the day and reminded me of their love for each other.

365 Project -Day 1

I have decided to join in on a project a few of my fellow photographers have told me about. It is called the 365 Project. I will be taking one image everyday for a year and sharing them with you. There are really no rules in this project I just think it will be a ton of fun and I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I am. I think at the end of the year I want to print them all and make a album or a really giant frame of all the prints, it could possible cover my entire living room wall but thats ok with me. :-)

I will try to post them each day as I shoot them but no promise...

These are some of the cutest paper clips I have ever found, I was in Staples (one of my favorite stores) and I found these little guys and could not believe how perfect were. I am going to use them on all my wedding collection information for the upcoming bridal shows!
