Katie + Ryan Engagement Session

I just got home from Katie and Ryan's Engagement Shoot. I have known Katie for sometime now, and it was great meeting her fiancé and catching up with her. We were all over the place this afternoon, we started at my apartment buildings parking lot, headed to the Wright Brothers House in Oakwood and then headed downtown Dayton by the Cannery on Third St.

These two make a great couple and I am sure that they have many years of happiness and laugher ahead....

This sneak peek image is just one of so many more that I will get posted in the next couple weeks....

Austin & Hillary - Winners from Bridal Showcase in Findlay

Back at the Findlay Bridal Show, I met Austin and Hillary when they came to my booth with one of the door prizes that I gave at the show. And since the weather here in Ohio totally sucks sometimes. We have been waiting for a nice sunny day for quick some time to do engagement pictures. But this weekend we finally had a beautiful day, actually it was hot outside. We did some really fun pictures outside George House Coffee Shop and then headed downtown Findlay to use some of the awesome textures in between and behind the buildings. They probably thought I was crazy but I love the textures and light direction I can get from that area. But they went along with my crazy ideas...They were just a really fun couple and I had a great time hanging out with them during their session. We also went out to Riverbend, where they have a really nice brand new covered bridge. We had a great time and I can't wait to get them all edited and posted so you all can see them....

The sneak peek image posted is from an alley downtown Findlay....

Happy 92nd Birthday Mary!

This weekend I had the honor of being apart of Mary Dehaven's Surprise 92nd Birthday Party. It was a Garden Party and all the ladies had on fun hats. I had a great time meeting them all and being able to capture the day in photographs for everyone to look back on.

I got the chance to meet some of Mary's close friends and as they sat around their table over lunch I thought to myself. Now that is a group of ladies that can truly call each other their best friends. They have been running around together for fifty some years. I hope that when I turn 92 I get to have a party with my closest friends of 50 some years too! I can just imagine all the fun those ladies have had over the years!

This is my favorite shot of Mary from the party....(many more images to come to in the coming days...)

Danielle & Tyler Engagement Session Sneak Peek-Lake Erie Marblehead Lighthouse

Last weekend I had the chance to go to the Marblehead Lighthouse for the very first time. I have been to Lake Erie tons of times before but for some reason never made it to the lighthouse. It is a really neat place and I hope to go back and do some more pictures sometime.

I had met Danielle and Tyler right after they had gotten engaged and it was a blast getting to know them better as I did the engagement shoot. We covered the entire park just finding great little spots for pictures. Danielle was glowing already, months before the big day! :-)

Just by looking at the images I captured that day I can tell they are 212% head over heels in love! I can't wait to capture images of their wedding day and meet their friends and family!

A few sneak peek images from the shoot....

Mr. & Mrs. Jeremy Sheeks - Sneak Peeks

This past Saturday I had the honor of meeting and photographing Jenn & Jeremy's beautiful family. The wedding was held at Village View Church in Bowling Green Ohio and the Reception at a beautiful Garden Party also in Bowling Green. This was the first wedding I have had in Bowling Green and I hope to have many more because this park was beautiful and the possibilities are endless there.

Jen and Jeremy had a wonderful wedding planned, and I think they made excellent choices, as everything looked great and it all seemed to go just the way they wanted it to. As well as they may hold the record for the fastest ceremony as it started at 4:30 and the church was cleaned up by 5pm. :-) Which left plenty of room for some pictures at the park.

As a photographer my mission this wedding was to capture a few images that I always think about capturing but always forget to once I get there....the dress hanging from a tree, all the bridesmaid flowers together (Inspired by Libby O'Neill), kissing with the bubbles(Inspired by LuAnn Montz) and I captured all three YAY! :-)

I wanted to share just a couple images from Saturday that I had a chance to edit....there are so many more to come...
