Lindsey Junod In Action - Linzi Beckie Photography

I recently got the chance to 2nd shoot for  Lindsey Junod owner of Linzi Beckie Photography. The wedding was just beautiful as Jenny and Joel did a wonderful job planning. It was really fun for me to be the 2nd shooter, since I have not been a second shooter for a very long time. I look forward to being able to shoot with Lindsey again at the end of July. I not only had a great time second shooting - it brought back to my attention that I need to remember being creative is what I love to do, and I need to do what I love without worrying what is right, wrong, the rules, what someone else thinks, etc. :-)

I had such an awesome time working with Lindsey and meeting her family and working with Jenny & Joel and there awesome friends and family. As I was taking pictures Lindsey stepped in one of my shots and I suddenly thought....O I should take a picture of Lindsey taking pictures....It was fun as we were shooting I was trying to take pictures of her.... :-) It was a fun twist for me....

If you have a chance you should totally check out the blog post from the wedding on Lindsey's Blog!

Jenny & Noah Wakeman Wedding Sneak Peek

Saturday I got to be a part of the beautiful wedding of Jenny and Noah Wakeman. At St. John's United Church of Christ in Bluffton, Ohio with a reception to follow at one of my favorite places The Centre at Bluffton.

I had a wonderful time meeting both Jenny and Noah's Families. I also got to chit-chat with their daughter and son which are some of the most sweet kids I have ever had the chance to meet. I have several favorite images but I just had the chance to edit this one and wanted to get it up so that Jenny and Noah and their friends and families could see as I know they are anxiously awaiting to see all the images.

Austin & Hillary - Engagement Session

Austin & Hillary were the winners at the Findlay Bridal Show. I had a wonderful time taking their images and getting to know them. We were all over Findlay and they were very willing to do whatever crazy thing I asked even go to a creeping back alley :-). Many of you know I am always going to strange or crazy places. I almost love the challenge of finding a hard or crazy place and making it work.

For more details of where all we were check out Austin & Hillary Sneak Peek Post! I am almost finished editing Austin & Hillary's pictures but I have like so many I wanted to post a few a little early!

Austin & Hillary -- I wish you all the best in your marriage! You two are just adorable together and I can just see you guys going old together! :-)

Mary's 92nd Birthday Garden Party Story

As I sat down to edit the images I had captured at Mary Dehaven's 92nd Birthday Garden Party, I felt like the images just told so many stories. As a photographer I am always trying tell a story with my images. I love to be able to look back on places I have been or things I have done and be able to remember the story of the time I was there. And when I was at Mary's Party I felt as though I was able to tell the story of the day.

Mary and her friends have been running around together for many more years than I have been alive, when I think about that it blows my mind. When thinking about my own friends and how we are so very close and how many memories we have together, all the inside jokes, and even the tears that we have shared with each other in the last 5-6 years. Its crazy that these ladies have had 4 or 5 times that amount of time together how many days of laugher and how much love they have shared. Makes me wonder what me and my friends will sit around chit-chatting about 40 years from now. :-)

The party was just a blast! Every detail was well thought out and put together. Even I got my own name tag and place setting. From lady bug salt & pepper shakers to cupcakes decorated like flowers,  flower pot name tags, and Floral Table Cloths & Flower Balloons, Amy (daughter of Mary) left no detail unturned. Lunch was delicious and the cupcakes and Dietsch's ice cream pecan roll was even better.
