My Awesome West Carrollton Senior Models

I could not have asked for two more awesome members of the class of 2012 from West Carrollton to be senior models. I had so much fun taking both Jaime and Paige's portraits, and look forward to meeting there friends and referrals.

Both sessions were held downtown, Paige's at 2nd Street Market and Jaime's at an old building off of 3rd Street. Both mini sessions had so many pictures I could hardly pick my top ones for there rep albums.

I am already thinking about some more fun ideas for their summer time/fall time session....

Elaine and Brian have two of the cutest children on earth. Naura is full of attitude and energy and loves to talk to anyone who will listen. :-) She is so sweet and she loves her Baby Dawson. Which you also cannot help but fall in love with. He was sorta mad at us the morning we did this photo shoot, he was not sure why we were moving him around but he was not so in love with the idea. He would make the funniest faces at us and most certainly would not fall asleep for us. But he is so cute I still love so many of his images, I think as he goes older we will be a little heart breaker. :-)

It was so awesome getting to shoot Naura and Dawson and I am looking forward to capturing them in pictures as they grow up.

Paige- Class of 2012 - West Carrollton HS- Senior Model

This past weekend I had the chance to meet Paige down at the 2nd Street Market. I have never been there when open and hope to be able to walk down there sometime when it is but I loved it when it was closed because I got to take pictures all over the place...the outside of the building has a painting, and black rails, just tons of fun textures and I loved the lighting I came across....

Paige was up for anything, she tried anything I asked her and she was a blast getting to know. She is the first model to have brought her dad along which I thought was really sweet. We ran all around the market snapping pictures....and I wanted to publish a sneak peek image and let her know I think she rocks and when she becomes a huge success on a major national news station I hope she remembers the little people (AKA her senior photographer...) :-)

 Even though we almost got ran over by some guy who was trying to drive like Edward Cullen....

Jaime - West Carrollton Class of 2012

The weather was just beautiful this entire weekend and crazy enough its Monday and its still nice out, I love it! It made for much warmer senior model sessions this weekend!

Jaime and I met downtown and walked over to one of my favorite spots in downtown to shoot, I am trying very hard to make sure no two models or even seniors have the same exact location as part a promise to myself to keep every senior session unique. So, this is just a spot that one of my favorite photographers showed me once and I just love the light and the backgrounds!

Jaime is a great swimmer and also likes to play volleyball, she is planning to attend college but unsure where she wants to go but I am sure the colleges and universities will be lined up hoping to get Jaime on there swim team.

It was great getting to know you Jaime and thanks for being such an awesome senior model!

Doug & Katie's Love Story.....

Last weekend I got to go out and shoot with Doug and Katie and it was a blast. As you all read in the previous post (Doug & Katie Engagement Session Sneak Peek Post) Doug popped the big question at the same location as this photo shoot. Which I just love because it just helps to tell the love story of this great couple! Katie was simply glowing already and its not even the wedding day yet...I know this is a couple that will live happily ever after...

They have the coolest building at Clifton Mills Park, I loved grabbing pictures in front of it (the first three below)...It has old signs and frosted windows, its just has such a fun look, I would love to take some more pictures just in and around this building...maybe a senior model.....

Wynter Wise - Bluffton High School Senior Model Sneak Peek

This weekend I went up to my hometown and got the chance to shoot Wynter in Downtown Bluffton. We were all over the place we started at the "used to be" alley by the movie theater, walked to the Bluffton Public Library and headed over to the Post Office, warmed up a little in the Common Ground Coffeehouse, where we even grabbed a few shoots inside, and then ended up laying upside down on the stairs at Greg's Pharmacy. It was a blast I had a great time and loved using my 70-200mm Lens pretty much the whole shoot, I can't get over how much I adore this lens. 

Wynter is officially a Senior Model for the Class of 2012 at Bluffton High School. And below are a couple sneak peek images. I will post more coming very soon. 

Wynter is planning to graduate high school and join the National Guard as well as attend Bowling Green State University to study to become a Veterinary. And I wish her all the best as she follows her dreams! 

Baby Dawson and Big Sister Naura - Dayton Family Photographer

This weekend I had the chance to capture images of Baby Dawson and his Big Sister Naura...Even though Dawson was unsure his feelings on getting his portrait taken, overall he did a pretty great job being adorable...I am excited to be able to see him grow up, which I know will happen faster than anyone is ready for. Big Sister Naura is just a doll baby and when she is around you just can't help but smile, she loves baby Dawson and she is a talker for sure. 

Elaine & Brian you have a beautiful home and family, and I can hardly wait for our next photo shoot I had a great time spending the morning with you all!

Joey - CTC - Senior Shoot

My top picks from Joey's Senior Model Session....Joey did a great job and it was really great meeting his mother, grandmother, and good friend Paige...I had a great time running around downtown dayton and getting to know Joey and I look forward to our summer/fall session....

Taylor - MHS - Senior Shoot

Here they are .... top pictures from the shoot the other day with Taylor....There were so many great images I could hardly choose which were my favorite....I had such a great time meeting with Taylor and her family and I can hardly wait for our next session, I already have some really fun ideas!

Chelsea at Java Jo's

So my sister Chelsea and I were hanging out in Berlin waiting for our parents to meet us for dinner and due to the rain we ducked into a coffee house, Java Jo Coffee Bar where we grabbed some coffee of course!

And I couldn't help but grab some images of her, and her new hair due! I heard "New Hair-Do" and first thing I thought was "Perfect reason for a photo shoot." :-) Doesn't everyone think that? :-)

I couldn't believe what a cute coffee house Java Jo's has become! It made a perfect little photo studio and my coffee was great! :-)

Doug & Katie Engagement Session Sneak Peek

Doug and Katie are Engaged!!! YAY!! Congrats!!!

This session was a blast, we got to go to Cliffton Mills to do this photo shoot. Why is this so cool? Well it is where Doug popped the BIG question....just a few month ago. Which just made it that much cooler...
It was great getting to talk with Katie and Doug and hear about all the fun in planning a wedding while living five hours apart....

The big day is quickly approaching and I know the whole day will be beautiful...
